Published on July 30th, 2010 in: Art, Comedy, Interviews, Music |ACT 2
Cast and Characters:
The A Band as Winnie the Pooh
Ergo Phizmiz as Giuseppe Arcimboldo
Winnie the Pooh: Hello Arcimboldo, how do you do? Tiddley POM.
Arcimboldo: Splendid thank you. I just enjoyed a meal with Rudolf II before rearranging his face.
Winnie the Pooh: Would you like some hunny on your toast?
Arcimboldo:: No thanks, I’m stuffed.
Winnie the Pooh: How about some tea or coffee? Or CAKE?
Arcimboldo: Now you know I can never say no to a piece of cake. Shall I paint your portrait in Madeira?
Winnie the Pooh: I’ve been asked to interview you, so you must be important in some way, can you tell me why that might be?
Arcimboldo:: Why, I’m the Great-Grandfather of Surrealism, of course. I also do a fine sideline in culinary aesthetics.
Winnie the Pooh: What is it that you do? Tiddley Pom.
Arcimboldo: I see dreams in food. It’s a gift, and a curse.
Winnie the Pooh: You paint pictures of WHAT? Tiddley Pom.
Arcimboldo: Precisely.
Winnie the Pooh: Do you keep bees?
Arcimboldo: No. I set them free.
Winnie the Pooh: How strongly do you think the loss of Frank Sidebottom will be felt across the world?
Arcimboldo: If he’d been just a touch more fruity we would have been dealing with a cataclysmic chain of events.
Winnie the Pooh: Have you seen piglet?
Arcimboldo: Oops. Ask Emperor Rudolf. There may be some scratchings left.
Winnie the Pooh: Would you like some hunny?
Arcimboldo: No, thank you, I’m stuffed.
Winnie the Pooh: Do you have any hunny?
Arcimboldo: I’m sure I can get hold of some, but I’m terribly busy.
Winnie the Pooh: Can all bears talk?
Arcimboldo: Of course!
Winnie the Pooh: If you were me, and I was you, and you were interviewing me as you, what would you ask yourself, Mr. Arcimboldo?
Arcimboldo: Where’s the lavatory?
Winnie the Pooh:
I think I need help
Tiddley Dee
Shall we go see
Tiddley DEE
a WOL?
Arcimboldo: Only if we can bring vegetables.
