1. Favorite movies
Up was my favorite movie this year.
2. Favorite TV shows
Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Entourage
3. What was your favorite show that you attended this year?
New Zealand Armageddon Expo
4. Music discovered this year
I really like Muse, and Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears’ Tell ‘Em What Your Name Is!
5. Favorite new album or band?
Favorite new album would be Steel Panther’s Feel The Steel and favorite new artist would have to be Nikka Costa.
6. What’s your favorite Conan quote from your new book (available January 13, 2010)?
I was proud of, “Will they never stop coming, these seekers of blood?”
7. Favorite new tech gadget
I got an iPhone for my birthday in November and now I know what all the fuss was about!
8. Any upcoming developments in The Boys that you’re excited about?
Big revelations in our story arc 40-48! But these questions I always have to answer discreetly.
9. Upcoming movies that you’re interested in?
I’m psyched about The Book of Eli on January 15! Iron Man 2 looks promising!
10. Something you’d like to see in the new year?
All I hope for in 2010 is stabilization. I am too cynical to expect anything to get a whole lot better, but I hope things don’t get worse. Unfortunately I used up a whole lot of my “hope” in 2008 and think I didn’t get the best bargain for my optimism. That’s what I get for being audacious!
