Popshifter is currently looking for good writers.

We also need writers to cover the following specific subjects for future issues (click the links for more info):

Submission Guidelines:If you are interested in any or all of the above, please submit a 100 – 200 word essay on one of the following topics:

  • My most memorable/crazy/hilarious/embarrassing fan encounter
  • Why I should write for Popshifter.
  • The five most important reasons I am a fan of (fill-in-the-blank). Please note this should not be in bulleted or numbered list format.

Instructions:

  1. Make sure to review the Popshifter Manifesto.
  2. Keep in mind that grammar and spelling do count.
  3. Please avoid excessive swearing (we’re not prudes over here, but creativity means a lot to us).
  4. Specify which subject you would like to cover in the body of your email.
  5. Email your submissions as Word or txt attachments to editor@popshifter.com.
  6. The subject line should be “Popshifter Submission Query.”
  7. You should include your name (pen name and real name) and the subject which you are interested in covering in the body of the email.
  8. Any submissions we receive which do not meet ALL of the above criteria will not be considered.
  9. If we are interested in your submission, we will contact you.
