From the Meligrove Band‘s Facebook page:

Friends! Our US tour in December hurt us real bad. We had to get our transmission rebuilt, stuck in the worst part of Orlando for five nights, missing the last half of our tour, and having to pay $4500! Our bank account is in ruins. Help us pay by partying with us and our friends!

The party/show/fundraiser will be held at the Horseshoe Tavern on Thursday, January 13. It all starts at 9 p.m. with The Order of Good Cheer, followed by the (fantastic) Sandman Viper Command at 10, and then the (also fantastic) Meligrove Band at 11 p.m.

$10 at the door. No advance tickets. Ages 19+.

Says the band, “If you can’t make it, but still want to be a part and help out, please pick up or order a record from Nevado Records or Last Gang Records. If you have questions, drop us a line.”

Bassist Mike Small also adds: “We’re playing songs we don’t usually play, including a few (hopefully good) surprises.”

If that isn’t enough to get you down to the Horseshoe Tavern tomorrow night, then I have no cure for what ails you!
